General Information

Nungwi started life as a fishing village and is now Zanzibar’s premiere diver destinations. Nungwi village gives you a chance to experience true Zanzibari ambience.

From Nungwi, you can mix your diving with a visit to the old spice plantations, Stone Town with his shops or markets displaying leather, gold, silver, carpets, spices and trinkets of every shape and size. Be prepared to barter!

Then there's the chance for the ubiquitous dolphin and whale watching in the south of the Island, some rainforest walks and a visit to the old Sultans palace with its enormous baths.

Our hotel is also right next to the beach and many shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

For non-divers there are water sports or the chance to go snorkelling on the same Spanish Dancer dive boat as your group or partner.
