The diving in Zanzibar’s northern area runs from the Mnemba Atoll at the north eastern part of the Island up the east coast, around the northern tip, westwards to the Island of Tumbato on Zanzibar’s north western coast, and than up north again. Almost half way up to Pemba Island, rising from about 400m of depths, a sea mount called LevenBank.
Most of the diving is around the northern tip and in the Mnemba Conservation Area so do not touch the coral or feed the fish otherwise you may find yourselves with a ticket from the rangers.  Where ever you dive around Zanzibar’s’ north you are in for some excitement, fantastic coral and great diving.
